Spring Polishes

Besides fall, spring is easily my second favorite season. What's not to love? From pretty pastels to vibrant neons, it's every girly girl's ideal palette. When it comes to polishes, I tend to steer more towards reds and pinks, but for this season, these four polishes are what I plan on wearing the most:
  • China Glaze's 'For Audrey' - a beautiful baby blue that is the perfect cool pastel that looks amazing on anyone.
  • Orly's 'Passionfruit' - a bright pink-red neon that's as tropical as it's name. Perfect if you like that "wow" factor on your nails.
  • OPI's 'Pink Friday' - From Nicki Minaj's line, a PERFECT bubblegum pink that's girly and leaves hands looking very clean.
  • OPI's 'Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It' - My go-to, everyday color! It's a perfect blend of a bright orange-red that is warm and a gorgeous contrast to any outfit.
I've been wearing 'Pink Friday' more than any of the other polishes, and have been getting so many compliments on the shade. Spring is here - bring on the gorgeous colors! What polishes have made your top list?

Valentine's

A little late, I know.. But Valentine's this year with my boy was just as amazing as our previous Valentine's Day together. I was in the Bay Area for the weekend so he took me to visit my Dad's hometown of Palo Alto. Gorgeous as ever, we ended our day trip in Tiffany's where my gift awaited. I was ecstatic and our day together was as perfect as ever. Thank you again love! I hope you all had a wonderful day with your loved ones!

Hair Must-Haves.

When it comes to my hair, it's safe to say it's pretty much treated like none other. I love trying new products and these have made the top of my list as far as products that I always need. The Bed Head 'After Party' smoothing cream ($20) is amazing. It's possibly the best smoothing creme I've ever tried and since using it, I haven't looked back. The John Freida '3 Day Straight' ($9) does exactly what it says. I have naturally curly hair and using this prior to straightening my hair makes it last 3 days without having to re-straighten it. Lastly, the Macadamia Natural Oil 'Deep Hair Masque' ($30). It deserves all the hype its getting -- it's DIVINE. It smells luscious and leaves your hair feeling and looking better then when before you used it. You can find all these items at your local Target or Ulta. Yes, they are all a bit on the pricey side, but doesn't your hair deserve the best? I would say so!

HANAair Blowdryer - Review

When it comes to hair, I love using only the BEST products/appliances there is and the Hana blowdryer is no exception. Brian, from Misikko.com , sent the Hana blowdryer to me about 2 months ago and asked that I'd review it.

First off, let me give a huge shout out to Brian - THANK YOU THANK YOU! Not only for the product, but for the nice personal touches with the package. Along with the blowdryer, I received a set of Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner, hand sanitizer, potpourri, a flat iron felt holder, a cute monkey doll, and of course the blow dryer.

Now on to the product. Can you say amazing? I've tried a lot of hair appliances within my hair life (LOL) and let me tell you, this Hana dryer is top notch. It's a sleek black with an easy-to-use handle. I love that it comes with a long cord, which I'm sure will work very well for professionals, because with my long hair, it makes it easy to style my hair.

Another great thing about this product is how quiet it is. I know it seems weird to say that seeing as how all blow dryers make a weird loud noise, but when I compared the noise the Hana makes compared to my usual Chi blow dryer, the Hana was not as loud or annoying. The biggest plus of this product is what it actually does: it dries your hair in no time! I have very long hair and when I come out of the shower, it dries my hair in less than 10 minutes. Seriously! And I've waited two long months to honestly try this product out and see the pros and cons that it has to offer.

The only downside about this product is the price. It's a pretty hefty price weighing in at $335; but it is on sale at the moment for $195. Again, a little pricey for most, but it is honestly worth the price tag. If your looking for an amazing blow dryer, Hana, hands down is the best that I've seen thus far.

I hope you beautiful loveys found this review helpful! Let me know if you have any questions and be sure to pick this product up!

Very Much Needed.

I swear I haven't gone MIA on you lovelys. Finals have gotten the best of me - but I hope the holiday spirit has you all excited for the next few weeks to follow. I know it has me estatic! My new job allows me to fly for free to a lot of places which is really nice for a college student away from her family. So my plans for the next few weeks include: working and lots of flying back to Portland!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannakuh, Happy Kwanza, and a very, very, very HAPPY NEW YEAR! I love you all and be sure to surround yourself with good people and most importantly, YOUR FAMILY. Lots of love to you all!
